The first day of 2010 began with a run. Well, began is a bit of strong word. The “Resolution Run” started at noon, so Jan. 1 kicked off with a later start.
I ushered in the new year with some friends and Karyn and I ran a mile to the start of the annual run. Once upon a time, the Resolution Run was an official race. Now, it’s an informal gathering of runners in the village of Williamsville. Karyn and I ran a relaxed pace for the entire three miles then went back to her house for a day of hanging out with friends and watching reruns of Ironman coverage from 2000 through 2009.
